Ran-Lew Dairy

Ran-Lew Dairy bottles milk right on the farm in Alamance County, and it’s the closest thing to raw milk you can buy in North Carolina east of Interstate 77. Ran-Lew milk comes from pastured cows and is low-temperature pasteurized and non-homogenized for maximum health benefits and easier digestion.
Ran-Lew Dairy owner Randy Lewis lives in the farmhouse his great grandfather built and milks cows in the dairy barn behind it. Randy’s determination to preserve the family farm and its traditions is the subject of the 2015 documentary film, The Last Barn Dance.
